Studnents working Welcome to my website. I will be teaching Resource Classes this year at Buchanan Elementary.

My degrees in education began in 1976 with a B.S. in Vocational Home Education from SLU. In 1985, I completed my M.Ed. in Special Education (grades 1-12) from NSU. I continue to take classes and workshops in my fields of teaching.

I have taught students for 25 years and I have continued to take classes and workshops to stay up to date in my fields. Due to the degrees and classes/workshops, I am Highly Qualified in two different areas of education.

The past few years I have been teaching Family and Consumer Science in middle school. After school, I have been doing LEAP remediation in both language arts and math for the eighth graders.

I am excited to be able to help the elementary students prepare for their high stakes testing as well as to prepare them for the real world after school. Each new day brings new challenges with the chance to help students be the best they can be. How awesome!
